Plans and coordinates the institutional research agenda, supports researchers, and produces journals, working papers, and policy briefs.
The Department of Research and Publications develops RIO Center's research agenda and supports students, lecturers, and professional researchers throughout the research lifecycle — from proposal review and methodology design through data analysis, reporting, and publication. It also runs the RIO Research Clinic and maintains the Center's research repository.
