A postgraduate student had collected data for eight months but could not make the analysis answer her research questions, and her submission deadline was ten weeks away.

Through the RIO Research Clinic she was matched with a methodologist who identified that her research questions and instrument had drifted apart. Over five sessions they restructured the analysis plan, reran the analysis in SPSS, and rebuilt the findings chapter.

She submitted on time and defended with distinction. Her supervisor has since referred four other students to the Clinic.
